In my opinion, the system of internal marks vests a lot of power at the hands of the respective teachers and if they just are a little biased, improbable but possible, it can lead to blunders and loss in the number of human resources that we have available to us. But this is just one side of it. It might just fail to access the level of students in a universal competitive atmosphere. Let me try to explain this taking a fictional example: Let’s, consider school 1 and school 2, 2 different schools located in 2 different parts of the country. School1 has a relatively better teacher as compared to school2. Therefore a relatively less talented student in school2 might get internally marked more as compared to a more talented student of school1, just because the teacher is better and so that teacher expects more from the student but because the student can’t produce the result expected out of the same he/she gets less with the internal marks. The night was dark, the forest floor soggy but as is the mountain so firm, so is the will of a soldier to move on. After having lost three men in an ambush, Capt.
